Noach
Parashat Noach tells an epic story of an ancient flood that covered a vast amount of land and left only one surviving family. Noach build an ark according to God's instructions and starts to load it up with representatives from all species, an incredible conservation effort!
The rains come, until the flood is over. Emerging with some tough feelings, the family needs to acclimate to how life is now. With incredible language, God makes a brit, a promise with and all living creatures, for all ages to come, with a rainbow reminder of this new relationship.
